The Alabama Hills Dwarfed By Sierra Mountains

The Alabama Hills is one of my favorite places in California, and it's definitely one of my favorite places to go rock climbing. Pictured in front of the imposing Lone Pine Peak is the Shark's Fin, a well known, classic sport climb that I have had the pleasure of sending. The massive snow-capped mountains of the eastern sierras tower over the large and impressive granite boulder formations that cluster in the sage-filled high desert.
