Humpback Back Dive

This is the same joyful and expressive humpback whale that put on such an impressive show out in the Monterey Bay just off the coast of Santa Cruz. He breached very close to the boat repeatedly, giving a once in a lifetime opportunity to see the power and playfulness of these amazing animals. The gray skies added a sense of drama to the scene.
