Big Humpback Breacher

In classic humpback form, this jubilant whale put on an impressive show of breaching in the Monterey Bay, just off the coast of Santa Cruz, California. He was incredibly close to the boat and I will never forget watching him play. This photo was featured on Stagnaro's Whale Watching website when I took it. Such an honor!
